Special
Something Special is the vintage thrift
located up the hill from school.
This gem of a store
sells unique items: antiques, furniture, wonderful collectibles, funky
retro pieces, you never knows what treasures you will find each week.
Something Special donates 100% of the proceeds to our school which helps
us meet our annual stipend requirements from the Diocese of Bridgeport.
We implore all families to answer our request for 100% participation on volunteering to work in the shop, which is only open on the weekends.
Each family’s commitment of five hours a year will help to keep this
fundraiser going strong. We are counting on Something Special raising significant
$$ for the Home School Association this school year .
We hope you and your families
are enjoying the fruits of all your labors last year with the playground
improvements, new awning, etc. The HSA Board hopes to continue to show our appreciation for
all that you do with other large improvements as well as smaller ones such as
funding a teacher supply closet and capping class dues so that you do not feel
as though you are constantly asked to reach in your pockets.
