The purpose of the technology program at Our Lady of Fatima Regional School is to develop in students’ strong skill foundations and build on them.

Technology at Our Lady of Fatima Regional School is used to nurture the catholic principles and values that embody our education. Technology is used to advance the cause of academic excellence by making use of the resources that it offers. The school’s Acceptable Use Policy teaches students that they must not only learn to question what they are doing but also why and whether they should be doing it.

There is a constant effort at all grade levels, to not only provide grade – appropriate technology skills but also to integrate technology in all areas of the school curriculum. Most of the grades have a 40 minute technology- integration lesson to achieve this objective with computers available in each classroom for student use. Besides, regular computer instruction is given to grade 1-8 for 40 minutes per week. Additional time is built into classroom usage of computers when appropriate.
